Nick Stein

Nick Stein's career in the music industry started in Orlando, Florida in 2001. While producing beats for and recording local hip hop artists out of his apartment, Nick decided to attend the Recording Arts Program at Full Sail University. After graduating with a degree in Audio Engineering in 2005, Nick moved to Los Angeles and completed his internship at Record Plant, while he continued to apply his proficiency in Pro Tools and Reason on the independent hip hop scene. The following year Nick relocated back to the east coast to produce, record and perform for Dope Sandwich Productions in Savannah, Georgia; recording, mixing and contributing beats for five record releases and countless live performances, including two east coast tours. In 2009, as the drummer and songwriter for live hip hop band Dinko's Bones, Nick moved to Atlanta where they recorded their self-titled EP and toured the local club circuit. Nick now showcases his engineering and beat-making skill set as a part of the RexTrax recording team.
