RexTrax Recording Studio is located on Buford Highway in Gwinnett County Georgia and is convenient to the Atanta and Athens area. We offer recording services at the most affordable rates available and strive to provide high quality for every client and every style of music. Our totally new facility is designed with the performer in mind and features a host of luxuries that make recording here a pleasurable experience. All of our many rooms are tuned for optimal sound enhancement and all are also climate controlled. Line of sight ensures that multiple band members can play live simultaneously in separate rooms while maintaining constant visual and verbal contact with each other. Our unique construction makes RexTrax one of Atlanta's finest and most efficient recording studios for the live musician.
The Vocal Booth

Our vocal booth has been tuned with bass traps and diffusers to ensure a flat response when recording voice and is equipped with two microphone inputs and two headphone jacks to accommodate group vocals. The placement of this room allows the singer to see the rest of the band during the performance while maintaining sonic separation.

The Wedge

This room was designed with the guitarist in mind and was tuned accordingly. Sound panels can be added to deaden the room or removed for more ambience. The wedge shape was used to prevent flutter echo caused by parallel walls. This room is large enough for up to two performers with amps and is equipped with eight microphone inputs and four headphone jacks.

The Control Room

This room represents the ideal listening environment necessary for an accurate mix. It's large enough to house the band and producers for play back and is equipped with the some of the best gear around. The control room is situated between the wedge and the diamond but does not obstruct the view.

The Diamond

This is the largest room and is primarily used for recording the drums and percussion but can be used for anything. This room is a totally separate structure than the rest of the studio and that significantly reduces how far the sound inside travels. It is shaped like a diamond to prevent slap back and features birch hardwood flooring and twelve foot notched pine walls. The room has a very live sound that also compliments vocal performances very well. It is situated in the rear of the building for ease of loading and has sixteen microphone inputs and four headphone jacks.
